It was good to meet everyone who came to my stall and the rain held off!!

The next day (Easter Sunday) at St Mary's Hall was the first of the Artisan Bazaar.  I was not there as a trader but did pop along to see what was what.  Lovely selection of artist stalls including knitting, textile art, leatherwork, jewellery, paintings, photos etc.  I went along with Molly our Golden Retriever and I couldn't resist buying a collar for her from Tislicious for "Free Thinking Dogs" that's definitely Molly!  What do you think?

I thinkg she looks very Sixties.  Visit the website if you want to treat your dog - www.tislicious.co.uk.
I also bought some lovely cards from Helen Wild who creates stunning textile art.

  2. Hi, just thought I would take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I also wondered if you would like to comment on all things 60s.  I recently spent a long sleepless night and my mind wandered to the 1960s, thinking of fashions, music and jewellery.  I found myself thinking affectionately of mini skirts, maxi dresses, flared trousers and loads of beady things.  My favourite pop group at the time was The Beach Boys and I loved to wear fringy things.  I recall a suede waistcoat which had long fringes, great with white trousers!!  I also made my own dresses at the time, something I want to get back to now.  I thought of the fashion icons of the time, Mary Quant, Lulu and her appearance in the Freemans catalogue! The Beatles and their collarless jackets.

Anyway if you want to comment and add your own thoughts to these musings, get in touch.
